With four races for all levels, from the 14 kilometres of the “ruta Os Foratos” to the 73 kilometres of “Le Tour du Vignemale” along with the 45 kilometres of the “Maraton de Tendeñera” and the 23 kilometres of the “Vuelta al Cebollar”, the Os Foratos de Lomenas race celebrates its twentieth anniversary with Trangoworld as the main sponsor.
With 73 kilometers of and 5,660 meters of positive climb, “Le Tour du Vignelame” is the main race of the weekend giving 4 points for the UTMB. With start and arrival in Torla, the races goes through the valleys of Bujaruelo, ibón de Bermatuara, passes to France to reach the Baysellance Refuge first and then the Oulettes de Gaube Refuge. Once back in Spain, the two highest points are the Puerto de los Mulos, the pico Peak and the Tozal de Comas summit.
The Maraton de Tendeñera (45 kilometers and 3,440 meters of positive climb) shares part of its route with Le Tour du Vignemale, coinciding with the “Spanish” part of Le Tour. Three points for the UTMB is what the finishers of this race “win”.
The Tozal de Comas with 2,320 meters is the highest point of the Vuelta al Cebollar (with 2 UTMB points) which is its 23 kilometres of route accumulates a positive slope of 2,160 meters.
The route of the ruta Os Foratos is the most popular race of the four. With only 14 kilometers away, has however, some technical difficulty by having 700 meters of positive climb. Goes back to Torla on the left side of the Ara river Torla and passes through - well attached to the lifeline - the Escala pass.
