ART Collection 2024

Discover ART Collection designed by Jerjes Llopis

Capsule collection of clothes made from recycled cotton and undyed

The illustrations are a poetic visual homage of primary colours implemented with a BIC® Cristal® pen

A collection consisting of six clothes made from recycled cotton and viscose, and undyed since the colour comes from the recycled cotton itself, have been created with a BIC® Cristal® pen by the artist Jerjes Llopis.

With the aim of adding even more value to the product and giving freedom to create and try new creative concepts, we established collaboration agreements with external artists more than four years ago. These artists, passionate about art and the mountains, create exclusive pieces.

This initiative is the result of the "Imagine Outdoors- ART Collection" initiative, which sought to promote talent and showcase it outside the usual circuits in the unparalleled setting offered by the mountains, nature… the outdoors, ultimately.

Limited Edition Clothes

ART Collection summer 2024 is a sustainable collection made from recycled cotton and without the use of artificial dyes. Produced from pure cotton scraps created during the fibre manufacturing and transformation processes, with the aim of combating pollution and preserving our planet's resources. Our clothes are an ideal option for those who want to sport a unique style while contributing to environmental conservation. The illustrations stand out for their strong personality; they present a poetic visual homage of primary colours drawn with a pen that appeals to the senses and allows us to keep imagining the outdoors. Each piece reflects our commitment to the planet, being part of the change we want to see in the world. The limited edition collection consists of two T-shirts and a sweatshirt for men and women, each model carefully designed to combine style, versatility, and ecological awareness by using 100% recycled cotton and not using dyes.

Commitment to Traditional Techniques

The sensation of experimenting with new concepts and styles has given us the opportunity to launch limited collections, favouring the use of more classic artisanal techniques such as watercolours by artist and mountain guide Ricardo Montoro, drawings by Barcelona illustrator Marcos Navarro, as well as those by contemporary Teruel illustrator Andrea Plumed, all passionate about art and the mountains.

A significant highlight in the summer 2024 capsule collection designed by Jerjes Llopis from Ontinyent is the use of traditional techniques slightly removed from the digital aspect, valuing a commonplace element like the use of the BIC® Cristal® pen, an iconic writing instrument whose appearance in the 1950s revolutionised history to this day, making it an eternal, everyday design element used worldwide.

A Design Inspired by the Sensations of the Mountains

Jerjes' creation perfectly links two of his passions: graphics (drawing and illustration) and, on the other hand, the relationship with natural environments. Based on his own experiences and the visual aspect of his work, he pays homage to the brand's beginnings; he relates it to those pioneering mountaineers who ventured, played, or enjoyed setting themselves challenges using a graphic register associated with the 1900s era. The artist has created a series of graphic narrations intended to convey the sensations experienced in a natural environment, the mountains: "Caressing the wind, breathing in the smell of wet earth, observing botanical and mineral morphologies, listening to the heartbeat of our circadian rhythms blending with the fauna…" All this through a plastic language that reminds us of those pioneers whose curiosity challenged them to discover the vast natural riches that our planet harbours, reaching the highest peaks.

Jerjes Llopis' Unmistakable Mark

Our commitment to promoting a still unknown artist gives even greater personality and admiration to the clothes. With a special and different design that combines geomorphic appearance elements that link together, they bear the unmistakable mark of the author. Graduated in Fine Arts from the Miguel Hernández University of Altea, he currently works as a teacher of artistic drawing and colour at the School of Art and Design of Alcoi, where he teaches subjects in different fields of design.

Graphics/textures in black/white and colour spots with tonal modulations are the morphological elements he applies in his plastic discourse, where the representation of anatomy has significant importance.

Now it's Jerjes Llopis' turn, passionate about art and outdoor and mountain activities, to try our collection on the ground and share his impressions with us.
