The bluesign® standard heads one step further than an eco-label. Due to the holistic approach of this industry standard, not only consumer safety is considered, but also other aspects including occupational health, water emission and air emission are taken into account.

Besides these important aspects, the principle of resource conservation plays a major role within the bluesign® standard. The independent bluesign® standard guarantees that the entire production chain only contains components and passes through processes that are harmless to people and the environment. It uses what is called “Input Stream Management” that views production as a series of steps that needs to be individually certified and monitored.

All manufacturing processes and chemistry must meet the bluesign standard for a finished product to bear the label bluesign®.

Trangoworld® uses in its collection several varieties of down: “European goose down”, “European duck down”, “Goose down” and “Duck down”.

There are 2 important quality factors which determine down’s performance of a garment or a sleeping bag: one is the mixture of down and feather (“Mix ratio”) and the other one is the filling performance (“Fillpower”).

-“Mix ratio”: Information such as “98/2” means that the filling of a garment or a sleeping bag, has 98 % of down and 2 % of feathers. Down keeps better warmth than feathers. The higher the proportion of down compared to feathers is, the higher the insulation with the same fill weight will be.

-“Fillpower”: A “cuin” is the unit of measurement to test down performance in terms of filling and compression. The higher is the number of “cuins”, the higher the filling performance will be. The result is a product with better insulation.

Renewable down comes from finished apparel/bedding products that have reached the end of their product life cycle. The down and feather filling normally has a longer life cycle than the finished products.

The down and feather filling is then extracted from the finished products. The extracted down and feather filling material is then classified and processed to meet the cleanliness standard and other performance requirements.

The recycled down used in our garments guarantees breathability, lightness and optimized warmth.

The “Dry Control” products from Trangoworld® have been designed and manufactured to transfer sweat from your skin outwards.

These technical garments remove the moisture on your body, which in turn prevents bad odours from forming in the clothing and ensures they dry more quickly, giving you comfort irrespective of the sport they are used for: cycling, running, trekking, mountain climbing, etc.

DuPont™ ComforMax™ Classic is manufactured using the most advanced carding technology that provides 4-5 times more fibrefill layers than other forms of insulation.

A non-slip surface which fixes the sleeping bag to the mattress, to avoid the sleeper sliding off and sleeping on the hard ground. Sleeping bags use fabrics with a special finish to achieve a smooth, pleasant feel. The disadvantage is that as a result the sleeping bag slips a lot on the surface of the mattress.

Due to changes in the body’s position during sleep, we may slide off the mattress and wake up on the hard ground.

To avoid this, Trangoworld® has developed ARTISTOP, a non-slip surface. ARTISTOP increases non-slip properties by 70%, and provides the positional comfort necessary for rest.

An elastic surface which allows the sleeper to enjoy all the softness of the foam inside the mattress. The main design aim of our self-inflating mattresses is to provide comfortable rest.

Conventional self-inflating mattresses are covered with a rigid fabric which acts as a hard barrier between the body and the softness of the interior foam. At Trangoworld® we have eliminated this “barrier effect” with ARTISTRECH, an elastic covering thanks to which the body rests practically on the soft foam itself, providing extraordinary feel and comfort.

The pressure marks in the diagrams show the reduction in pressure on certain parts of the body (head, back, rear, ankles). Trangoworld® uses in its collection several varieties of down: “European goose down”, “European duck down”, “Goose down” and “Duck down”.

There are 2 important quality factors which determine down’s performance of a garment or a sleeping bag: one is the mixture of down and feather (“Mix ratio”) and the other one is the filling performance (“Fillpower”).

-“Mix ratio”: Information such as “98/2” means that the filling of a garment or a sleeping bag, has 98 % of down and 2 % of feathers. Down keeps better warmth than feathers. The higher the proportion of down compared to feathers is, the higher the insulation with the same fill weight will be.

-“Fillpower”: A “cuin” is the unit of measurement to test down performance in terms of filling and compression. The higher is the number of “cuins”, the higher the filling performance will be. The result is a product with better insulation.
