I was born in Santander (Cantabria) and have grown up a bit all over the world. I spent my childhood in northern Spain, but I’ve also lived in very different places such as Arkansas (USA) and Taiwan, where I learned Chinese and discovered that the world is far too big to stand still. I currently live in the Liébana Valley, at the foot of the Picos de Europa — a place that has become the starting point for many of my adventures.
As a child, I loved going camping with my parents, but it was later, after returning from Asia, that the mountains truly captured me. I picked up my first camera at 17 and started by photographing my friends and people in the street. When I came back to Spain, what drew me most was photographing mountain landscapes, sunsets, and the stars. Little by little, the mountains began to take over from photography: I started going to the mountains to take photos, and I ended up going to the mountains simply for the mountains themselves. Some days I head out without a camera, because there are moments when I just want to be present — to feel the effort, the cold, the sunrise.
Today, I combine both passions: I’m a professional photographer and a certified mountain guide. I dedicate myself fully to creating visual content, documenting adventures, and guiding others in their discovery of nature.
Photographer for Alex Txikon’s 2023 Annapurna winter expedition, reaching 6,000 meters.
Qualified mountain guide, combining athletic practice with audiovisual creation.
Development of mountain-based photography and audiovisual projects.
Passion and dedication to learning photography independently.

I’m self-employed, working with brands and athletes, while also developing personal projects. I value the freedom to choose who I work with, when I rest, and how I want to tell stories. The truth is, I’m someone who goes with the flow. I’m not worried about not knowing what I’ll be doing next month or where I’ll go on holiday next summer. Whatever comes will be for the best. That’s my mindset.
In general, though, my medium- and long-term goal is to continue developing technically and physically so I can follow the world’s top athletes on expeditions and extreme projects. I want to document their achievements from the inside — experiencing the effort firsthand.
I’d love to create high-altitude documentary content, combining imagery, storytelling, and emotion. My dream is to stand among the best adventure photographers, accompanying climbers, alpinists, and runners on their most ambitious challenges.

When I head to the mountains, I always bring… A headlamp. Always. I tend to get carried away, and many times night has caught me out there…
If I wanted to introduce someone to the outdoor world, I would take them on… A high-mountain bivouac.
When I’m not in the mountains, I’m… Looking at maps. I’m a total map geek — I love imagining routes, distances, elevation gains, dreaming about new places and how to reach them.
The most important thing the mountains have taught me… To go with the flow, to accept what comes, and to enjoy the present. You don’t need to have everything planned. The mountains, like life, always surprise you.
A landscape or moment in the mountains I’ll never forget… A bivouac night in the Picos de Europa, watching the sunrise after a tough day. That moment when the light shifts and you understand that every bit of effort was worth it.
