"Since I didn’t know it was impossible, I did it"

Who I Am

I was born in Madrid and grew up between Alcobendas and Colmenar Viejo with my parents and siblings. I’ve always loved sports, but climbing came into my life almost by chance. I discovered it at a friend’s birthday party at the Sputnik climbing gym, and I enjoyed it so much that my parents signed me up for classes to learn properly. From that moment on, everything flowed naturally: each day I became more hooked, and before long, climbing was already part of my life.

At eleven, I started training more consistently and soon joined Team Sputnik, later becoming part of the Spanish National Climbing Team. That’s when I realized it was more than just a hobby — it had become my path.

Today, I’m a professional climber, and my daily life revolves around travel, competitions, and training. Even so, I always try to find time to enjoy the simple things: a day fishing, a trip to climb outdoors, or time with family and friends.

My Journey

Among the many experiences I’ve lived, two stand out: finishing 8th at the Lead Climbing World Cup in Chamonix (2024) and taking 3rd place at the Senior European Championships in Villars (2024). Both moments showed me that daily work and consistency always pay off.

Beyond results, what I value most is becoming the climber I am today and being able to inspire others to follow their own path. Turning my passion into my way of life is, without a doubt, one of my greatest personal achievements.

My medium- and long-term goal is to keep growing, keep learning, and go as far as my body and mind allow. I want to be part of the world elite in both sport climbing and outdoor rock climbing — and to enjoy every step of the journey.

Climbing in My Life

Climbing is my refuge. It’s where I find calm, peace, and the energy I need to keep moving forward. Every day on the rock, every route, every failed or successful attempt reminds me why I do what I do: because it fulfills me, centers me, and makes me feel alive.

My Outdoor Essence

When I head to the mountains, I always bring… Water, nuts, and the right Trangoworld technical clothing for each activity.

If I wanted to introduce someone to climbing, I would take them to… Any Sputnik climbing center — where it all began for me.

When I’m not in the mountains, I’m… Fishing, riding my motorbike, or spending time with family and friends.

The most important thing climbing has taught me is… That with consistency, hard work, and effort, you can achieve any goal you set for yourself.

A landscape or moment in the mountains I will never forget… A snowy hike with my father and my brothers to Bola del Mundo, in the Guadarrama mountains. That day, more than reaching a summit, I discovered what it truly means to share the mountains.
