I was born in Zaragoza, where I grew up with my parents and my sister. I started in the mountains at a young age, around 12, when I began climbing thanks to my cousin. Step by step, I learned from great mentors, and if something has defined my journey, it’s the privilege of sharing the path with incredible partners. Each and every one of them has left a mark.
I believe there isn’t always a specific moment when you decide the mountains will become part of you… it simply happens. Alpinism is a way of life that evolves over the years and is shared with the people who matter most to you. Today, I combine it with my work at Boreal, something I’m truly passionate about.
1,200 m, VI, M6, AI5/+, South Face of Chekigo (6,270 m)
Gavarnie, 150 m, 7a+ and M8, WI6
Mont Blanc, 900 m, 7b+
Spígolo dei Bimbi and Hubber Snaff in a single push, Patagonia, 2,000 m, 6c, AI5+
Grandes Jorasses, 1,000 m, M8, AI5

From a young age, I explored mountains close to home and later joined expeditions to remote places. My drive to learn and progress technically even led me to compete for several years in the Ice Climbing World Cup with the Spanish national team, reaching 4th place in the world ranking.
Over the years, I’ve thoroughly explored both classic routes and demanding lines in places such as the Mont Blanc Massif, Patagonia, Alaska, and many other mountain ranges where adventure and difficulty go hand in hand.
That same adventurous spirit has pushed me to open new, highly demanding routes both near home and far away — from “Martina” (WI6+ M11, 200 m) in La Fuenfría (Aragón) to “Shiva” (1,200 m, M7, WI5+) in Nepal. I’ve also had the opportunity to free-climb iconic ice and rock routes such as “Un Divo Listo” (7a+) in Gavarnie and “El Imperio Contraataca” (8a+, 300 m) in Ordesa.
For me, every experience and success matters — both the objective itself and the people I’ve shared the journey with. In the end, the mountains are a fundamental part of my life. They bring me excitement, but also peace.

y Outdoor Essence
When I head to the mountains, I always bring… Good equipment.
If I wanted to introduce someone to climbing, I would take them to… Ordesa (on an easy, relaxed route… hehe).
When I’m not in the mountains, I’m… With my family.
The most important thing climbing has taught me is… To control fear and overcome any obstacle.
A landscape or moment in the mountains I will never forget… Patagonia — an incredible place.
