I was born in Teruel, where I grew up with my family and friends. Sport has been part of my life since I was very young, mainly thanks to my father, who passed on to me the positive values that physical activity brings — not only physically, but also mentally.
I started in athletics as a child. During my teenage years, I stepped away from it and practiced swimming and gym training on my own. At university, I returned to running, but it wasn’t until I spent a long period in Benasque that I truly discovered mountain running and competition in this discipline.
After returning to Teruel, having secured my position as a public servant in education, the Matarraña Team helped me develop a potential I hadn’t even valued. Currently, the group Pister@s has given me a very positive spark to continue growing.
The moment I realized that trail running had become essential in my life was twofold: when I first set foot on a mountain at 18 (in the Ordesa Valley, with my father) and felt an indescribable peace; and when, in 2022, I was selected for the Aragonese Mountain Running Team.
Today, I work as an educational counselor and teacher training advisor in the province of Teruel.
Four consecutive years as Aragon Mountain Running Champion (FAM-FEDME).
2nd at Maratón de las Tucas (2017 & 2025);
3rd at KV Aneto-Posets (2022);
2nd at Vuelta al Pico Cerler (2019 & 2022).
5th at the Spanish KV Championship (FEDME), 2025.
3rd place (team) at the Spanish UP-Hill Championship (RFEA), 2025.
Any day, challenge, or route in the mountains with people I love is an important milestone for me.

Beyond results, any shared mountain route with people I care about is a milestone for me. Professionally, achieving my permanent civil servant position in education after two very demanding years is a great accomplishment. Personally, my greatest success is my family. My mother, father, and brother have always been — and still are — my fundamental pillar, along with the friends I’ve met along the way.
I want to keep improving as an athlete, travel to discover new places and people, and above all, continue living the feeling that being in the mountains gives me for many years to come. For me, the mountains are my balance and my engine. They center me, demand the best from me, and reveal a little more of who I am with every step. They challenge me to improve and help me discover myself every day.
When I head to the mountains, I always bring… Backpack, water, electrolytes, some food, spare clothes, a watch with the track downloaded, and a fully charged phone.
If I wanted to introduce someone to the outdoors, I would take them to… It’s difficult to answer because there are endless places to discover… But for a first mountain experience or first summit, definitely the French Pyrenees. They are the place that has captivated me the most.
When I’m not in the mountains, I’m… Spending time with the people I love or researching for my doctoral thesis, which combines two important aspects that have influenced my life: physical activity in adolescent girls.
The most important thing the mountains have taught me is… Personally, I’ve learned that you can’t always perform at your best. The mind also needs breaks and other spaces. Each person follows their own path toward their best version — there are no universal formulas.
A mountain moment I will never forget… Days hiking with friends and enjoying the surroundings; the long-distance routes I completed a few summers ago — the Senda de Camille and the Pass’Aran — I still remember every moment and landscape; and the first time I saw a mountain landscape at 18, with my father in the Ordesa Valley.
