"Keep the fire of your passion alive"

Who I Am

I was born in Zaragoza, although my childhood is also shaped by summers spent at a campsite in Peñíscola. I started trail running in 2019, and it all began very naturally: heading into the mountains with friends with the goal of completing all the ibones (glacial lakes) of the Aragonese Pyrenees. Later, together with a childhood friend, we set ourselves the challenge of climbing all the 3,000-meter peaks in the Aragonese Pyrenees. That’s when everything truly began… with one clear idea in mind: to reach our goals as fast as possible.

The moment I realized I preferred spending my weekends skiing or doing any high-altitude activity rather than going back to Zaragoza to play football, I understood that the mountains had become essential in my life.

Currently, my daily routine is focused on studying and training for the firefighter entrance exams. I left my job as an electrical mechanic to fully commit to this goal. I’m restless, ambitious, and I dedicate a lot of time to training and preparation.

Aragonese Mountain Running Team

Being selected for national competitions motivates me and reinforces my discipline.

Planning

I love planning long-distance races, reading and learning about sports performance.

Nutrition & Sport

I believe that with healthy nutrition and sport, you can achieve anything you set your mind to.

Mindset

Keeping a calm mind and not worrying about things you can’t control helps a lot in ultra-distance races.

My Journey

In recent years, I’ve achieved results I’m proud of: 2nd Canfranc Canfranc 70km (2025), 3rd Integral de Guara 42km (2024), 2nd Marató dels Dements Open 42km (2025), 4th Ultra Trail Torla-Ordesa 50km.

In the medium and long term, I want to have more time to explore mountains outside Spain. My goal is to consistently be at the front in the most technical races, especially in the skyrunning circuit, because it’s on technical terrain where I truly feel I stand out.

For me, the mountains mean self-improvement, motivation, adrenaline, and freedom. It’s the place where everything negative fades away, your mind opens up, and the everyday problems of modern life disappear.

My Outdoor Essence

When I head to the mountains, I always bring… It’s hard to highlight just one thing…

If I wanted to introduce someone to the outdoors, I would take them to… My favorite valley — the beautiful Tena Valley — or Ordesa, to challenge themselves by climbing a big peak and leave them speechless with a new perspective from the top.

When I’m not in the mountains, I’m… Thinking about and planning new routes.

The most important thing the mountains have taught me is… That teamwork in the mountains creates strong bonds. Also, to respect the environment, to be cautious in dangerous areas, and to be aware of your abilities before taking on the toughest and most technical routes.

A mountain moment I’ll never forget… Watching a sunset from the highest peaks of the Pyrenees and descending with a headlamp. I especially remember climbing the Grand Vignemale and descending at night.
