Before a collection launches, there are months of decisions that precede the arrival of garments in store: which materials to use and why, which models evolve and which stay the same, which designs and patterns are chosen. At Trangoworld, the development process for our collections is shaped by two questions: what does the person wearing the garment actually need, and what is the most efficient way to provide it?
The autumn-winter 2026 collection is built around several ranges designed to meet the needs of different types of athletes — mountaineers, hikers, climbers, trail runners and more — adapting to their level and the characteristics of the activity they'll be doing.
This season, the most significant changes are concentrated in the Evasion and Alpine ranges, while the TRX2 collection — the most technical range for high mountain use — and the Impulse Ski Touring and Impulse Trail Running collections maintain their line with minor adjustments.
Mountain clothing that fits into the city
Built around the philosophy of creating garments that work in the mountains and can also be enjoyed in the city, the Evasion collection introduces new models, fabrics and design changes this season.
New parkas designed as lightweight urban garments
New parka models with synthetic fill and a clearly urban profile are added to the existing parka catalogue, which also returns in new colours. LACHAT TERMIC (men) and LUIK TERMIC (women).
REPREVE: traceability in recycled materials
In keeping with our commitment to caring for the natural environment and being transparent about the steps we take to protect it, several models this season are made with REPREVE® recycled fibre — sourced from plastic bottles — whose U-TRUST® certification ensures material traceability at every point in the supply chain.
"We wanted the recycling to be traceable and verifiable, not just a label claim. REPREVE® lets us know where the material comes from and guarantees that the process is real from start to finish", says Coloma Gómez, responsible for Trangoworld's Evasion collection.
New fleece garments: three directions
This season, the new fleece pieces designed for outdoor activities without technical demands go in three directions. The first is a reversible jacket — sherpa-style fabric on one side and smooth textile on the other — that bets on versatility and dual functionality in a single garment.
The second is a jacket available in both men's and women's versions, featuring a check design, 55% wool and a mountaineering style that echoes the classic lumberjack look. An aesthetic choice that connects with the roots of outdoor clothing without sacrificing functionality.
Finally, a pullover and two jackets — one with hood, one without — made from a warm, very soft and pleasant fabric.
Evolution in jackets and sweatshirts
In the range of stretch, lightweight jackets and pullovers, fabrics, design and colour palette have been refined. In the sweatshirt line, new options debut with a smaller, more subtle logo. New transitional pieces with a more urban profile are also added.
In trousers, two new additions: a new women's trouser model with a heavily brushed interior for extra warmth, and a new corduroy trouser option for men joining an existing model.
Technical garments that respond to real needs
In the Alpine range, every choice of material or design responds to real behaviour in the mountains. The garments in this collection are designed for technical activity, providing the safety and confidence that all outdoor equipment should deliver.
Merino wool reaches the trousers
Until now, merino wool was already part of several t-shirt models — both short and long sleeve — designed for technical mountain activity.
This season, this natural fibre makes the leap into trousers with two models, one for men and one for women, made from recycled nylon with 20% merino wool on the inside. The combination seeks the best of each material: the resistance and lightness of nylon and the natural thermal regulation of merino.
All the merino wool used in the collection is also Mulesing Free — a decision that reflects our commitment to animal welfare. "This is a practice we have been applying for several seasons now, and it guarantees that the wool comes from sheep raised without the mulesing procedure — a technique considered painful, invasive and unnecessary by much of the industry", explains Aybuke Yildizhan, responsible for Trangoworld's Alpine collection.
Jackets designed around how much warmth you actually need
One of the most interesting decisions in the high mountain range is the addition of a new, lighter synthetic-insulated jacket to sit alongside the existing option — which remains in the catalogue.
This is not a replacement — it's an expansion of the offering. The warmer option remains the reference for those who need maximum thermal performance in demanding conditions. The new addition weighs less and has a softer fabric that allows it to be worn both in the mountains and day-to-day without looking out of place.
Garments that continue: the importance of listening and keeping what works
Two of the best-selling synthetic jackets continue and gain new colours. These are garments engineered down to the last detail, featuring two types of Primaloft in the same jacket: Primaloft Thermoplume on the chest, arms and hood — where greater insulation capacity is needed — and Primaloft Silver under the arms and on the lower body, where breathability is more important. This is a garment engineering decision designed to maximise the thermal capacity of the jacket.
Stretch garments for mountain activity
This season we continue to invest in highly stretch mid-layer pieces that provide warmth during winter activities without sacrificing freedom of movement.
These are two pullover models — breathable and highly adaptable to the body.
Adjustments based on real-use experience
One of the most technical trousers evolves this season with a relevant cut change: the new PRECISION FIT is more relaxed in the thighs than its predecessor, the SLIM FIT. It's an adjustment that changes the experience in technical activities, where freedom of movement in the hip and thigh makes a real difference.
The result is a trouser that remains technical and close-fitting — it feels like a second skin — but with greater freedom of movement where it's needed most.
